Britannia Airways operated
at first only some single charter flights from London (LTN).

From 1969 until the middle
of the 70´ties they operated regular on military and tourist
charter flights from Luton to Tegel too. Other destinations, i.e.
Istanbul, were served only occasional. Also some diversions of the
military charter flights to Gatow took place, due bad weather or on
holidays.

From 1975 Britannia Airways
visited Tegel very rarely on charter flights to Luton. Europewide
charter flights were operated occasional during the 90´ties.

The airline was founded
as Euravia on December 01st. 1961 and operates since August 16th.
1964 under the name Britannia Airways. She was renamed 2005 into Thomsonfly.
