BOAC operated only some ad-hoc charter flights to London.

The airline was set up on March 31st. 1924 as Imperial Airways. In November 1937 Imperial Airways and British Airways of that time merged into BOAC. Since April 01st. 1974 BOAC is a part of the newly built British Airways, which was formed from BEA and BOAC and their subsidiaries.
