Air India

  • Die erste bestätigte Landung der Air India fand am 21. August 1972 mit einer Boeing 707 in der Frachtvariante statt, dem weitere Flüge bis 1976 folgten. Es war jedoch schon in den späten 50'ziger Jahren eine DC-4 Frachtmaschine (VT-DAW) in SXF anwesend.

  • Am 01. Juli 1976 flog eine Boeing 707 dieser Gesellschaft mit Indira Gandhi an Bord nach Berlin zu einem Staatsbesuch in der damaligen DDR.

  • The first confirmed landing of Air India took place on August 21st. 1972 with a Boeing 707 cargo version, with further flights followed until 1976. However, there was already present a DC-4 freight aircraft (VT-DAW) in the late 50'ties at SXF.

  • On July 01st. 1976 a Boeing 707 of this airline brought Indira Gandhi to Berlin in occasion of a state visit in the former GDR.
