Diese MD-83 ist hier schon im Einsatz für die BerlinJet zu sehen und sollte eigentlich auch diese Titel erhalten. Anfang Februar, kurz vor der Aufnahme des Linienverkehrs, wurde diese Maschine nach Berlin überführt und man fragte bei der hiesigen Lufthansa-Werft an, ob die Mechaniker dort grosse BerlinJet Aufkleber an der Maschine befestigen könnten. Dabei entstand jedoch das Problem, dass niemand im Besitz einer Lizenz für diesen Flugzeugtyp war und somit durften auch solche Arbeiten nicht durchgeführt werden. Der Plan, sich auch visuell auf einem Fluzeug zu präsentieren, wurde daraufhin aufgegeben.

This MD-83 is seen here in service for the german low-cost airline BerlinJet and the aircraft should receive actually also these titles. In early February, shortly before the start of the line service, this plane was transferred to Berlin/SXF and the management of BerlinJet asked at the local Lufthansa maintenance facility whether the mechanics could attach big BerlinJet sticker on the machine. However, the problem originated, that nobody of them owns a license for this type of aircraft and so these works were not allowed. The plan to appear visually on an airplane was abandoned after it.
