Luxair

• Die Luxair landete erstmals in SXF während des Streiks der Feuerwehren von THF und TXL Anfang Mai 1992. So erschien am 04. und 06. Mai jeweils eine EMB-120 auf dem regulären Linienflug aus Luxemburg, wobei die unten abgebildete Maschine den Erstbesuch durchführte.

• Weitere Besuche waren dann, abgesehen von ein paar Einzelchartern im April 1993 und April 1995, eher dem schlechten Winterwetter zuzuschreiben, demzufolge der Flughafen Tegel kurzzeitig geschlossen werden musste.

• Luxair's first appearance at SXF was caused by the three days strike of the fire brigades from the other two airports THF and TXL. So on 04th. and 06th. of May two flights operated with EMB-120s from Luxembourg took place and the one seen here below was doing the first of these.

• Beside of some charter work in April 1993 and April 1995, further visits were operated more or less involuntary, because these all were done as diversions as the airport TXL was closed for a while during bad winter weather.
