Braathens S.A.F.E.

Diese norwegische Fluggesellschaft war schon seit Mitte der 60ziger Jahre auf Charterflügen in SXF aktiv. Neben der Fokker F-27 kamen dabei auch Flugzeuge vom Typ Fokker F-28 und DC-6 zum Einsatz. Leider konnten bisher keine Informationen über den Erstbesuch ermittelt werden.

Mit der Umstellung der Flotte auf die Boeing 737-200 war dieser Typ dann am 05. September 1971 erstmals in SXF zu Gast. Bekannt ist dabei nur die Flugnummer BU1395 jedoch nicht das Kennzeichen der Maschine. (Vermutlich LN-SUP oder -SUS).

Braathens was already active at SXF on charter flights since the mid 60ties. Beside of the below pictured Fokker F-27 also the F-28 and DC-6 was visiting the airport. Sadly there is no date of a confirmed first-visit available.

With the introduction of the Boeing 737-200 this type was just heard on radio cleared for a final approach at SXF on September 05th. 1971. Only the flightnumber is confirmed as BU1395 and the registration may be LN-SUP or -SUS.
