Am 18.Juni 1980 landete diese ex.
Royal Australian Air Force-RAAF Maschine in Gatow. Sie war für
das "Museum für Verkehr und Technik" in Berlin vorgesehen.
Anfangs registriert als A65-69, wurde sie dann mit dem britischen Serial
ZD215 versehen und später dann wieder in den vollen RAAF Farben
umlackiert. Zur Zeit steht die DC-3 auf dem ehemaligen Kasernengelände
der RAF in Gatow.

On June 18th 1980 an ex. Royal
Australian Air Force C47 arrived at Gatow. The aircraft was intended
for the "Museum of Traffic and Technology" in Berlin. First
registered as A65-69 the C47 was then re-serialled with the British
code ZD215 and some times later, this plane was back in RAAF color-scheme
again. To time, the aircraft is in storage on the former barracks-terrain
at Gatow.
